Sher­man Coun­ty Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion (SCCF) is thrilled to announce the appoint­ment of Tina Wolak as its new Exec­u­tive Direc­tor.

Sher­man Coun­ty Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion (SCCF) is thrilled to announce the appoint­ment of Tina Wolak as its new Exec­u­tive Direc­tor. Tina, a Kansas native, brings a wealth of expe­ri­ence, lead­er­ship and com­mit­ment to the com­mu­ni­ty.

Tina is mar­ried to Shan­don, a 2001 GHS grad­u­ate, and togeth­er they have two chil­dren, Rae­gen and Sage. Tina’s con­nec­tion to the area runs deep, and she is pas­sion­ate about the future of Sher­man Coun­ty. With a pro­fes­sion­al back­ground that includes teach­ing busi­ness at North­west Tech and serv­ing eight years with Good­land Region­al Med­ical Cen­ter, Tina is well-pre­pared to lead the Foun­da­tion into a new era of growth and com­mu­ni­ty impact.

“I want to see Sher­man Coun­ty thrive and will do every­thing I can to make that hap­pen. My heart and home are here.” said Tina.  “We are excit­ed to have Tina join the Foun­da­tion. She has already hit the ground run­ning, and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for both her and SCCF.” said Ron Schilling, Pres­i­dent of the SCCF Board.  “This is an excit­ing time for our Foun­da­tion. We have a new ini­tia­tive that will be unveiled to the pub­lic soon, and Tina will play a key role in the suc­cess.”

The Sher­man Coun­ty Com­mu­ni­ty Foun­da­tion is also grate­ful to the Dane G. Hansen Foun­da­tion for pro­vid­ing the fund­ing nec­es­sary to cre­ate this full-time Exec­u­tive Direc­tor posi­tion. This sup­port will enable SCCF to fur­ther its mis­sion of fos­ter­ing sus­tain­able progress and enrich­ing the life of all res­i­dents of Sher­man Coun­ty.

The Foun­da­tion is always inter­est­ed in hear­ing from com­mu­ni­ty mem­bers on needs, ideas, or ques­tions they may have about the Foun­da­tion, as well as con­nect­ing indi­vid­u­als and orga­ni­za­tions to avail­able resources. In addi­tion, the Foun­da­tion encour­ages area orga­ni­za­tions to con­sid­er sub­mit­ting grant appli­ca­tions for fund­ing to assist with projects and activ­i­ties that ben­e­fit Sher­man Coun­ty.
