The First Christian Church wrote a grant to the foundation for their park's revitalization project. They maintain a park, the Rainbows and Miracles Park, at 7th and Harrison. It is used by countless community members and visitors to Sherman County. This park was built in 1983 and refurbished in 2009; however, as time goes by, the playground equipment has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. Volunteers will work together to help erect new playground equipment. The new structure, Madison Play Structure, will provide a climbing area for children as well as two slides, a climbing platform, and ladder. The structure will also include ground level activities like a set of drums and a tic-tac-toe game.
